The Mandarin immersion program at Gavilan Peak is being phased out due to low enrollment. The Deer Valley Unified District continues to offer the full Mandarin immersion program at Desert Sage Elementary in Glendale. If this program matters to your family, contact me before making your decision — I'll give you the most current information.

曉青姐說：台積電帶來了幾千個說普通話的家庭，卻因為招生不足讓普通話沉浸式課程面臨停辦——這件事值得讓更多台積電家長知道。如果有足夠多的台積電家庭把孩子送進這個課程，或許還有機會讓它繼續存在。

Charlotte's take: TSMC brought thousands of Mandarin-speaking families to Phoenix — yet the Mandarin immersion program is declining due to low enrollment. This is worth knowing. If enough TSMC families enroll their children, there may still be a chance to keep it alive.
