Meet Charlotte
She is a real estate sales and marketing professional with extensive business experience, creative marketing flair, and outstanding interpersonal skills. Charlotte combines these skills with her deep understanding of both American and Asian culture, language, and real estate business practices to offer a unique skillset in Pacific Northwest and Arizona real estate.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Charlotte grew up learning art, music, and creative recycling or reuse from her mother. Whether it was converting old clothing into new by sewing together bits and pieces or finding used treasures of furniture and jewelry which others overlooked, Charlotte’s mother inspired her to create art and look for beauty in the most unexpected places. Her Mother’s love of music, art, recycling, and fashion inspired Charlotte to be an artist, illustrator, and designer at an early age.
When Charlotte moved to the USA 36 years ago, her love of art and fashion evolved into the academic study of fine art and design. She earned a BFA in Art and Design from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California and an MFA in Media Design from Full Sail University in Florida.
Charlotte applied her skills in art and design working as a web and creative designer for such customers as the IEEE, Certicom, Attain Marketing, Global Emergency Resources, Soleratec, Security World Magazine, and many more.
Charlotte additionally brings a broad set of business experiences. From starting and running a wireless video technology business as CEO for over 12 years; to making private investments in real estate; managing rental properties; staging properties for sale; remodeling homes; to managing renovations, Charlotte has a wealth of varied business experience.
Of course, Charlotte also has great life experiences including being a homeowner; raising a family of 5 children; leaded the Central Coast Chinese Association as President; sponsoring local art festivals; raising money for women’s shelters; teaching children’s Chinese language and culture classes, and even being a guest lecturer for Cal Poly’s MBA program.
Being a first-generation immigrant, Charlotte bridges American and Asian cultures, providing language, business, and cultural interpretation to her clients and partners. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals by providing understanding, communication, trust, and confidence. Charlotte is a certified Earth Advantage Broker on smart homes and a ADU specialist in Portland OR. She is also a certified Real Estate Property Staging Consultant in Arizona. Charlotte speaks fluently Chinese Mandarin and English. She lives in Lichfield Park, Arizona with her husband, Bob, and her Schnauzers. She is also a pet portrait artist.
